alot of fabricating. you have to weld up your own turbo manifold, and downpipe, and intercooler pipes.

okay.

the turbo you can use, and the intercooler you can use.

you need to buy a custom manifold (search on ebay for 420a manifold)

you'll need custom piping for the intercooler and you'll need a BOV, and some oil lines and some other shit that a good search would yield.

search man, I and the rest of these guys don't feel like re-typing the same info over again for lazy people. It's ALL been said already ans should be in a book.

This can be done. Both Tim and I have done it.

I believe that both of us would agreet that a kit from starr or hahn is much better than trying to piece this stuff together when you don't really know what your doing. As it sounds like he has little to no knowledge of his car much less how a turbocharged car really works. The best advice for you is to read read read on this site. There are pleanty of people here that have done custom kits so it can be done. And please use the search button to avoid future flaming.

your right in the sense that it can work, but he's right in the sense that the guy cannot just take the parts from the turbo car and slap them on his and call it a day, which is the impression i think the original poster is under.

This is the same belief 95% of the board had when they bought this car "I can just take the turbo stuff off a wrecked GST and make mine into one" which I would put $100 on it that's what this guy thinks. Just like me I thought you could jsut put the turbo, manifold, bla bla from a GST right into my car like swapping seats and it's NOT that easy. Don't give this kid the idea it is.

Now yes you can use the T25 turbo and the intercooler with some modification. But the list of shit you need to make it work is a mile fucking long and not what this kid thinks he can do.

Yea I don't want to steer this guy awry. You CANNOT just slap a turbo on your car from a GST. You will need a few items to make it work.

Manifold
Turbo
Oil Feed Line - with special fitting for the T25 oil inlet
T for the Oil Feed line
Oil Return Line
Tap for the oil pan return line
Pipes for the charge from the turbo
Clamps for your pipes
Silicon elbow's (possibly some reducers too)
Intercooler
FMU - or some alternitive to fuel manament (not an afc)
Fuel Pump (your stocker won't work for this app)
Fuel Return Line (you don't have one your a 96 up)
Missing Link (block ecu from seeing boost)

You will also need to modify your wastegate so it does not boost too much and blow your engine up on the first day you have it.

You should also get some gauges
Boost
EGT
Fuel Pressure

I know there is some stuff I missed, so please add to the list.

OR you could buy a hahn or starr kit which would be much easier. They range from $2000-$3000.

Maybe he should sell his fucking car and just buy a GST.

I am so very, very tired of seeing this question asked.

Another alternitive is to just get some 'Turbo' stickers. That adds at least 100-150 HP per sticker. I was at an auto x yesterday and there were some cars there with over 1000 sticker hp for sure.
