#8495, "T3/T04 Specs"

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the specs were on the T3/T04 turbo with e-trim from the Star kit. I think its the T04E with 40 trim???? I bent the compressor wheel on the turbo, (dont ask me how, no damage to housing) so I need to get a new one. There is just so many to choose from on Turbonetics website. Can someone help me out that knows more about turbos than me (everyone!). Or if you have a better suggestion to improve my turbo it would be apprieciated as well.

Thanks in advance.

If you can, get the 60-trim compressor wheel. It is my understanding that it is better than the 40-trim we have from STAR.

While your at it, you should get the ball bearings installed as well. Trust me...if you want power and response...which you probably do cause you have a turbo, then get this option. It is worth EVERY PENNY!!!!

Will the upgraded 60 series also increase lag by alot. Right now I do not have a built engine so I will not be boosting high. will the 60 series be the best application for me?

Thanks.

Actually, it should reduce lag. I am not sure of the specifics of it ( i haven't looked at the compressor maps) but the 60 trim over the 40 should reduce lag, as well as offer higher airflow capabilities. Last i checked, a super-60 trim compressor wheel was only about $150, and should fit the t04 compressor housing as a direct replacement.

Depends on comp wheel size...50 trim is good for about 750cfm..I believe this to be correct....could be wrong.
