I don't see the justification to convert my barbed return outlet on my fuel rail ('95 models) to a 37* flare type. So where can I get a -4 AN to 1/4" barb fitting, or better yet, a -6 to 1/4" barb fitting for my sfmu, so I can use rubber lines? The only thing I found close was a -6 to 7mm (.276") barb availible from summit for $20 each...

I also can't seem to find 1/4" fuel injection hose clamps anywhere.

What did you guys do?

I'm running rubber fuel line as my return line from the SFMU to the tank. I'm a 96. I know it's bad and illegal on the strip, but now I'm hooking up an allumnium hardline. You can get the fittings and hoses at http://www.bakerprecision.com/contents.htm

There is no issue with running the rubber lines, they just don't flow as much as the larger an lines, however unless your going to run those all the way through the system then you will be limited by the factory hardline anyway. Now for the fittings, summit carries the full line of areoquip and earls fittings they just don't list them all in the catalog. Call them and ask if they have the -6an to barb fitting and they will have it. I don't remember the size I used right now but I believe it was the -6an to 3/8 barb.

Summit seems to always have the lowest price on AN fittings, so I'll buy 2 of the -6 to 3/8" barbs from them.
Thanks everyone! emoji

I use 3/8 fuel hose too, works great. I had a hose bust when I was running stock injectors with 100psi. I now have larger injectors tho and haven't had a problem since. I got the fittings at a local performance shop for lke $6/ea.

I think that's what they are saying. However, making just a portion of the line bigger probably won't flow enough more to solve your problem. I could be wrong though.
