Well I just got this cheap A1000 pump and was wondering if anybody is using one or something similar. I already know about the pre-filter and post-filter. I was just wondering if you guys had some pics of your tank? Did you sump it? Sounds like porn emoji

Edit: sorry for posting this in the turbo section, I figured the only people that would consider this, have to be turboed.... Thanks in advance!

Both installs of these that I saw had the tank sumped. One mounted the pump under the rear bumper support.

tank needs to be sumped. the flow of it alone will kill any intank which will then lead to burning out the A1000. remove the stock filter assembly and replace it with a pickup tube. have fun

I run an A1000 on one of my projects. The post filter can be any high-flow fuel injection filter, but the pre filter is must be a specific kind. I think post should be 10 micron and pre should be 100 micron (from what I can remember). Check out Aeromotive's website for details.

I removed the stock fuel pump and made the feed tube longer (so it would almost reach the bottom of the tank). Then I put a 37 degree flare on the feed and return lines that come out the top of the fuel tank cap and used "AN" tube sleeves & nuts. I mounted the A1000 under the car and ran stainless-steel braided fuel hoses and AN fittings for the entire fuel system.

The A1000 is a great pump and hasn't let me down yet. Use an A1000 fuel pressure regulator along with it and you'll be set.

Were you haveing problems wiht fuel starvation? Also what size an- lines are you going to use? I am running 6an to and from my tank with a warlbro 255lph pump. Hopefully this will be enough for my 500whp goal.

best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph(no traction)
