I did a search on here and all I kept seeing was that the 95 Eclipse uses a dry kit and that the 96-99 need a wet kit. I'm a little confused though because the Venom Vcn-1000 nitrous kit is only sold as a dry kit and it says it works on the 95-99 eclipse. I even called the Venom Performance center and the nitrous tech told me that they only sell dry kits and that there should be no problem installing their nitrous kit on 96-99 Eclipe's since their kit taps into each injector. Is he right or wrong?

Yea its not a wet kit per se but it does control fuel and also shuts the spray off if you get lean......which if that happens real quick you might only get a shot for 1/10th of a sec lol. And I cut from their description so you see what I mean. Its not a real wet kit with solenoid but it does tweak signals to the ecu, which in turn has the injectors add more fuel. I could be mistaken but I think it just tricks the ecu into running on "cold settings" which adds more fuel. Now this, vs a true dry kit which only sprays n20 and nothing, else just sprays. Its only function is to spray n20. A/F and fuel issues should all be tuned to handle the shot of n20 prior to spraying. So really the venom can be considered a wet kit as it conrols fuel under spray.

i believe the more computerized kits such as the venom and zex (i think) that are dry will work for 95-99. but the plain jane kits with just a switch and no computer module...then the rules of wet and dry apply
