I made a similar thread to this before but I drew the pictures last time......but now have actual pictures.... question is what goes between my downpipe and my turbo. I have a early 95' 420a. thanks.

You need what is called an o2 housing. It's basically a housing that will bolt directly to your turbo, and then you bolt up your downpipe to that. They call it an o2 housing, because usually there is a oxygen sensor bung welded in it, for your o2 sensor.

I think you are better off cutting the collector flange off, and finding/weld a flange that bolts directly on to the turbine housing. No use looking for an O2 housing that will go between that. Not enough room in the 420a motor. I believe turbonetics carry those flanges. Fairly popular.

you running an external wastegate? otherwise you need to find a housing that bolts up to it that has a wastegate on it. mine is the same way. its this housing that bolts onto those holes and has a wastegate, and reduces down to a single exit for the exhaust. that explanation was the worst ever but i hope you understand. theres no o2 bung in the housing i have.

i guess im externally waste gated because the turbo doesnt have one.so that means a waste gate goes there...with an O2 housing...? flange ...no flange? im so confused...

LOL We were all there at one time. Just the o2 housing goes there. Your external wastegate should go on your exhaust mani.

oh boy... to be a dick.. not to be a dick.... be a dick..... not be a dick... where do i go? i choose....Not a dick!
there is nothing that goes between your turbo and your DP.
okay dude, what you need to do is simply cut off the flange that is on your DP now and weld on new on thats made for that specific turbo. drill a hole in your DP about 12" down from the turbo and weld in your o2 sensor bung. DONE.
as far as wastegate, if your externaly gated and your exhaust mani is not set up for one... you need to do more fabing and create a place for one or just find another mani thats already made for an external WG.
