So I cut and stripped the wires from my gauge to the gay TRE connector...RED NEGATIVE/ YELLOW POSITVE. And I don't get any reading on my gauge, it jut sits at 3. When I start it the gauge does a full sweep - is that normal. The peak/ warning function work so the gauge ain't the problem. Could it be that the probe measures in Fahrenheit and the gauge in Celsius? Should I reverse the polarity? I'm stuck. Thanks Alvin

All type K thermocouples are the same output and calibration, regardless of brand. The TRE probe just happens to react a LOT faster than a standard Greddy/Autometer/VDO thermocouple. Make sure your Apexi gauge uses a type K thermocouple. Check wiring, replace thermocouple maybe.
RED POSTIVE/ YELLOW NEGATVE....I guess TRE was wrong. Now I Idle at 500C (FP 23psi), Boost (8lbs) 900C. I know it's high..need more tuning tools... Alvin

Cool. Apexi must use non-industry-standard wiring colors to mate up to their proprietary harness.
Here's the instruction manual for your gauge, but they deliberately leave out the wire colors for the thermocouple wire.
