how long have you guys gone(miles) before needing new internals? and if you needed them replaced, was it from personal mishap, or did they just "go"?

my main worry here is blowing a motor 1k after I put it on....the plastic can only finance so much....

I'm going on 6 thousand miles and have had it for exactly 6 months today.

Compression is perfect, car runs like a champ.

Since May, so like 5 months and like 6,000+. Engine seems to run fine, I need an intercooler but the weather is getting cold so having it isn't gonna make that much a difference anymore. As long as you don't do some extra crap that your kit wasn't made to do your engine should have a happy life. Just make sure any modification you do, that you compensate for it, like more boost, hmm need more gas too!

Do a compression check to check where your motor stands. There's people here who have blown it in months time, but if your compression is good and you tune it right, use good oil, etc. i think you should be fine.
