well it finally happened, rollin around last night boosting hard, got the mani glowing red. Car seemed fine, parked it, then a few hours later got in to drive it, and knocking like a mofo...not good =/

If you are only boosting about 6psi on stock internals you should be fine unless your car really wasn't running right to begin with or you just have the habbit of beating your car when you drive it. You hear most people boosting 5 to 7psi for years, but I guess its all on how hard you drive it and how strong your motor is.

yea i know, i didnt think it would be a problem. But i think i spun a rod bearing or something, im not sure what im going to do at the moment. debating whether to rebuild or part out and sell
