#83124, "Getting A Custom Built Manifold"

I am getting a custom build manifold by Forced Air Inc, I have pictures and heard good things from other people. Where should I have the flange welded on? I'm thinking rite by the #3 runner so I have plenty of room for my dp. Also the turbo is a 14b, so which direction should I have the flange facing? He suggested strait down what do you guys think is good for a 14b?

Did you took 10 minutes to search how peoples have done 14b and T25 custom turbo kit with my manifolds ?
Did you took 10 minutes to search how my manifolds for 14b are made and copied by a few others manufacturers ?
Actually did you just took 10 minutes to look under your hood ?

Alain, I respect the work you do. But I don't think you need to be an asshole. If you would have provided an answer along with the beat down I could accept that. I'll just leave it at that. Back to searching I go.

Et toi tu parles francais ?

english is not the language that I speak since I live in the french speaking part of Canada, I was born and raised and still live in a french speaking world

I think you are lucky that I could write in english even if I do mistakes

when a newbie asks n one thread if a 14b is a t3 and when he asks in another thread if the 14b will go under a manifold those are good signs once again that the newbie didn't search and want his answers served hot on platter

Ya know what the best part about searching is? You can get an answer instantly! Sweet! You don't even have to wait for a big flame war to break out! It's fucking amazing really.

well it does take quite a bit of time to find an answer, and thats the main problem with our search function. 3/4 of the results are people asking the same exact question you are, and most of those questions are answered by "use the search its been asked a million times". indeed it has been asked a million times, but how many times has it been answered? emoji it really sucks when your searching your ass off and you find a couple threads with the exact question you want to ask, and its answered with "use the search"

the best way to browse through the findings of the "search function" is to only look at the ones where you know the people who posted in them are old school or people who you know from browsing the search pages post real answers to the questions more than often then not. Its all in how you search though ,if you type in what your looking for as a question like a n o o b would ask, then you will find a lot of search for it replies(example "can I turbo my n/a rs"). If you want to find an answer to a real question ask it in a search like one. Also go back to the older post's it helps eliminate the "search" replies

i agree that alot of times people post things that are way too redundant to be posted...however, it's ridiculous that everyone jumps on these posts EVERYTIME as if the poster called their mother a slutbag. in the time it takes to type most of the flames that come about in these threads you could just answer the question again, satisfy the poster as well as providing one more post that will come up in such a search later. it will also prevent the question from becoming a 20 post thread about how its been posted before.
