I think my cat converter is on its last leg. Car's exhaust smells funny some days and on a cold morning, my baby just doesn't feel like moving much. Now, I know what an exhaust bottle neck feels like.

My question is, does anyone here have a high-flow cat, and if so, which? Did you notice any improvements?

(The test pipe option is attractive, but in light of my employment and wife, I'd rather not take my chances)

I have one. I got it for about $80 (it's a no-name brand, 2.5") and had it welded in to my 2.5" catback piping for $30. I was NA when i had it done, so all i really felt was a drop in low end, and a good deal of pickup after 4000RPM or so.

yeah i gots one on the rs and didn't really notice much off a diff but that could also be due to the fact it replaced a gutted cat. but it should due you pretty good cause you got the turbo.

Well i no longer have a website cause Homestead is being a bunch of bitches!

I have an extreme motorsports 2.5" cat. had to have a muffler shop change the angle of the flange to the downpipe(made for a GST). Cost $170. Felt not a thing (also NA at the time).

hmm...as far as i am concerned, putting a test pipe on my car was the best improvement for that kit. it really freed up the exhaust, and i even had a 3" cat back. i know it is not what you are looking to do, but a 3" cat would really benefit you a lot. it's probably all i would need, but the test pipe just sounds soooooo much cooler on there.

definteley a good bang for the buck if you get a universal one.someone once told me that there's like one manufacturer that distributes to all those other companies(brands) so they're pretty much the same and your just paying for the name.

I know the Extreme cat was some generic shit off the Pep boys shelf but nothing I can do about it now.

When I do my custom exhaust, I am thinking I will go with a dynomax high flow one. It should help you out a lot turbo.
