i have a bad injector that i believe is causing my idle issues, its leaking air into the chamber. anyway, while im at it i was planning to just upgrade to larger injectors, what size would be fine without changing my fmu disk or anything?

The air leak is probably just due to a bad injector o-ring.
Unless you replace your injectors with the same size or really close to it, you'll probably have to change discs and/or rings in whatever rising rate regulator you have. That's the whole point of the discs.

i pulled the fuel rail out, let me tell you, that was a pain in the ass. I looked at the injector that was leaking, and it looks no diff then the others, im not sure if there is a leak or not.

sorry don't mean to thread jack, but how can you confirm if you're getting a vac leak from an injector? i know i have a vac leak and it sounds like something in that area but i haven't pin pointed it yet. my vac lines all seem fine so my next guess would be the injectors or one of the gaskets...

well i ran the engine and started spraying carb cleaner everywehre, nothing happened until i sprayed it on this injector. That being said, it almost stalled the engine..ie i was flooding it. So i would believe that if air was getting in there, it would cause high idle. ive pulled the fuel rail already and inspected the orings, they all look fine but im going to replace anyhow.

Yeah sounds like an old O-ring on the manifold side. They can shrink over time. Could also be that the o-ring wasn't seated right. Use a tiny bit of rubber-safe lube when installing.
I think if an injector was leaking so badly that air was getting in, you'd have one hell of a fuel spray coming out the side of it.
Dont forget the paper intake manifold gasket that's within an inch of your injectors. Your spray may have been sucked in there and not at the injector, but you would know if you pinpointed it well enough.
As far as testing for vacuum leaks, the carb cleaner idea is good. I've also pressurized the intake tract with an air compressor (with the car off) and felt/listened for leaks coming OUT of the intake system. Just pull off your intake pipe and clamp this to your throttle body:
You could also use a mechanics stethoscope to pinpoint sucking noises.
