how much clearance should you have from the turbo to the hood? and also does anyone know how much clearance the hahn and star kits have?

the clearance will depend on the specific turbo and headers. it can vary a bit...keep in mind the slope of the hood.

as far as the hahn kit, i'd say o more than 4-6inches at most, can't say for certain since i've never been in the engine bay when the hoods been closed..
