#81271, "Some details on Turbocharger ...."

Sup guys,
Check the link out: http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/home.php?cat=426

Basically I am shopping for a new turbo charger.
I am currently having a Mitsubishi TD05H-16G (small 16G turbo)

But now I don't know which one I should get from the above link shown 16G turbos.
Can someone please tell me the PROS and CONS (difference) of the 3 turbos: TD05H-small-16G, TD05H-big-16G, TD05H-EVOIII-16G ??

I am rebuilding my engine this summer and will hope to run up 15PSI MAX instead of now 8.5PSI.

I do know Small 16G has less Lag but lower max HP. Big has bigger Lag but more HP. is there any other detail difference (pro & con) about them? also, what about the EVOIII 16G? any difference?

one last question, mine is a custom turbo kit, and it was designed for my current Small-16G turbo. if I put in the Big or EVOIII, they will fit perfectly correct? intake, exhaust, oil feed/return, everything?

Thanks guys.
Gil

I have a friend that put the evoIII on his 1g AWD and it was a huge diff in the turbocharger. Although he went from a 14b directly to the evoIII.

You sold your 16g? Did you tell the buyer it was blown?

Between the 3, you'll probably notice absolutely zero difference in spool. Not to say there isn't any, but the difference will be so fine that you'd have to look at it with a microscope to see it.

Get the Evo 16g and call it good.

Thanks Darkone.

Yes I sold my turbo for like $150.
So he shouldn't complain about it at all.

Well, ok, so EVOIII.

Now the only thing I am not sure yet, and no one answered it yet is. does ALL connection will be PERFECTLY the same? exhaust, intake, oil feed/return, etc?

Thanks guys.

Does it really matter? I can't answer that myself, but i'm sure if ytou called a turbocharger vendor or whoever you're buying the turbo from, they could tell you if the small 16g, the big 16g, and the Evo 16g all use the same connections.

yes the connections are the same.. If you want more power get an Evo O2 housing, that and a 3" DP- Exhaust and you'll notice more of a difference. Exhaust is extremely important, bigger = better... But as I said the Evo 16g will fit no prob..
