All we did was change the plugs from shitty bosch platinums to NGK's gapped to .50

We then took her out for a pull and was fine. Next day car was running fine boostin 10-11 (normal) then tonight i got on it and it hit 14-15 psi!! and started to sputter asnd miss like I've nevar heard.

wtf?

so back to the shop to lower the gap..... we go .44 and take her out.

Same thing.

what the hell causes overboosting like that?

all of a sudden?

OKay I searched and I KNOW that the boost gauge line is right off the intake mani. (good signal)

everything else, (wastegate lines n shit) is stock.

Everything from the hot side of the turbo is 3" but that bumped the boost from 8-10/11 psi......so 15 is outta the question.

wtf?

the creeping can probably be solved by porting the o2 housing hole and wastegate hole.

edit - isn't there a silvia board he can sign up at emoji

Well, that kinda what I thought. But there is nothing loose.

I'm gonna check again tonight when we get to the shop later, but emoji

It HAS to be something to do with the wastegate though doesn't it?

Thats a pretty large gap for that boost level. Maybe you should gap them smaller and possibly adjust the mbc. Speaking of which, what MBC are you using? Could be the problem....

no MBC.

Supposedly, factory boost is 8-9 psi.

We're seeing 10-11 but we figured it was the cold ass 20*F temps.
