#80910, "check my knowledge... MBC install"

This is a similar mbc that I have to install on my car. (THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL INSTRUCTIONS ITSELF). Self explanatory right?

But in the instruction of my mbc, it says that the bottom port of the mbc goes to the positive source of the turbo, and the side port goes to the waste gate. There is no mention of tieing to the bov or anything. If it makes a difference, this boost controller has a softer spring for low boost applications 7 psi or less. Should I install it like it says on the instructions or should I change go with the diagram above from vfaqs?

my turboxs MBC goes like this...
the side port goes to the wastegate and the bottom port goes to the turbo. never seen one that goes to the BOV. i always thought the BOV was supposed to NOT be tee'd into but shit.

and also, what ever hapened to you getting a 60mm gauge pod from me for your steering column PUNK!? emoji

i have the bottom to the wastegate actuator and the other end t'd to the bov and vacuum source. Teeing it helps ease down on the flutter of the bov and boost creeps.

This is how I have mine-

You can replace "intake" with "atmosphere" if you're not concerned with emissions.

My BOV is connected directly to one of the intake manifold nipples.

If I don't experience the boost creep and flutter, it probably is okay to do like the original instruction? Dammit, I tried emailing boostcontroller and they think I am not a customer
therefore no customer support for me... Yeesh indeed..,

Explanation of boost creep I found for all neubs (including me).

Is low boost settings commonly associated with boost creep? I was playing around with the car and it hold boost pretty well, and my greddy warning gauges aren't displaying any creep of boost above the set level (7 psi)...
