#80693, "Will this Turbo be Compatible?? Please Help!"

My buddy bought it off of this guy that had a del sol. I havent seen it except for in those 2 pics. My buddy told me it was a t3/t4 turbonetics turbo. Will this turbo be compatible for my 97 eclipse? I'm going turbo on my 420a motor. I am thinkin about just putting my turbo together piece by piece, it seems to make it easier for me. I didn't want to do it this way but I guess I have no choice. I would like to end up equipping this car as if I just bought a stage 2 turbo kit. I need to figure out what's next I guess. I just hope I don't run into compatibility issues with certain parts I would buy. I'm doing more and more research everyday. Which is a good thing! The other question I have, if the turbo above is ok to use, I would like to get the intercooler piping as well, cause i think it would be too much of a pain in the ass to bend it all up. I was looking on hahn racecrafts page and came across this.

H IC-5110

Stage 2 Intercooler Pipe Upper- Replaces Throttle Body Elbow, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse $99.99

H IC-5120

Stage 2 Intercooler Pipe Lower; for Stock, HAHN Super 16G and 20G turbos, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse $49.99

No pics but I was thinking maybe it was the piping that looked like this?

Any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated guys and girls. Thanks,

P.S. My buddy told me that he would sell me that BRAND NEW turbo for $260.00

~John.

Wouldnt see why not, thats what I have. Same setup but, mine is a Presion T3/T4.

As for the piping, I can hook you up with a kit for 120 bucks. Its definitly enough for what you need it for. I got this kit and had some left. Lemme know if your interested.

From the first pic, the turbo looks EXACTLY like an SS-Autochrome unit...
If that's the case, I'd stay FAR away from that turbo.

Yes Turbonetics symbol on exhaust housing... it's called FAKE!
Either that or they're just using real old parts... like years old.

I can tell you straight up that that is NOT a Star turbo.

That is another POS SSAutochrome/XS-power/whatever-they-are-fucking-calling-themselves-today turbo. Unless you want to put more money up front to have the CHRA rebuilt before use, it is WAY not worth it.

There is a reason why they are so cheap.

And that turbo will be compatable with your motor. Just unbolt your old turbo and bolt that one in. emoji

Clarify what you mean by "compatable" if you would.
