#80646, "Question about SFMU and stock FPR"

I am installing a vortech here in a few weeks along with my S16G and had a question about my stock FPR. I have a 95 GS and was wondering if I could still use my stock FPR with the vortech SFMU or do I need (key word being need) to buy and aftermarket FPR??? Thanks in advance.

You can still run it, but you would have stock idle FP, which is like 45psi. You would have to modify it somehow to lower the idle FP if you are running larger injectors.

However, some do not agree on lowering idle FP. There is a ton of info regarding this, hehe.

Thats what I Thought but everthing I searched on stated to take it out, saw this little nipple off and install an aftermarket one into it. So the SFMU is all I need to worry about then??? If so then thanks for the info guys.
