Ok, well, I'm going to take your guys advice and get a good tune up. I just need a little more input on what all I should do/have done. Safety is good. Here is what I have came up with so far.
1. Compression check 2. Intercooler leak down check 3. Install Fuel Press, Oil Press, EGT gauges 4. Check timing 5. Check MSD DIS-2 settings 6. Have Accel DFI tuned better, and on a dyno
Anything else I should have done while she's at the Doctor?

How can I remove the EGR Solenoid? Is it just that black plastic unit or what? What about that silver unit thats mounted on the side of the block, part of it? My computer wont let me look at my PDF files...
Where's a good place to get stainless braided fuel line, and -4an fittings? Like 4-5 feet... And a "T" fitting?
Where should I have my probe mounted in my manifold?
Anyone know what the timing is supposed to be set at for a stage V? -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

Well the black plastic saucer thing sticking out is your EGR transducer it sends and recieves the signals about the EGR. The EGR is the BOV, valve looking thing that is attached to the side of the block right near the exhaust ports (2screws) then there's a pipe that's connected to the back of the intake manifold, hence Exhaust Gas Recirculation. The valve should move, you can see it, when you throttle is a little it. YOu can see the plunger moving. Clean it carb cleaner and make sure to rehook the vaccumm lines correctly. Also, you can't check timming on a DIS system

Ok, I am going to remove the EGR Solenoid, EGR off the block, copper hose that connects to the manifold, and make a plate to fit over the hole in the manifold. The EGR is just for emmisions purposes, right?
Does anyone know how to check and see if a o2 sensor is working? My Calmap software for the Accel DFI is showing no voltage. I have traced the wires and they are intact and in good shape. I think its a bosch 3 wire, I think thats what comes with the DFI, one wire goes and grounds to the frame, the other 2 run to the DFI. Can I use a voltage meter and check like that? -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)
