first off i agree w/stan on this the kit is frickin' basic as it gets. so in all honesty i don't know how much tech support everyone really wants. if you leave the boost settings alone the kit does its job. if you want to raise them and you run into fuel problems then that is your responsibility to research and find solutions. essentially you modified the product that was sold to you. hence voiding any warranty or liability the company has. so they aren't going to replace anyone's fuel pumps, "sleeper".
in response to "anyone seen the company star"...you're looking for the company DRAG. these kits are essentially drag kits. steve, the engineer who designed our kits, was one of the head engineers for DRAG and basically manufactured one of their kits to fit our vehicles. most places are aware of this and can offer assistance in problems you might have. Overboost.com has good tech's that will speak to you. i have consulted them on several occasions myself. this board has enough of us that tinker w/the kit to provide info. i mean damn, that is where 99% of everyone learns everything on turboing our cars. from the research of people like Darkone and Stan and the prob's those of us like me and Wyatt ran into way back in the early days. and you can call any knowledgeable turbo tech and explain your setup and the problems your having, and they can suggestions and solutions at any time.
bottom line is the kit works as is. if you want to derive more from it then there are steps and precautions that YOU must take. Star never advertised or claimed anything about raising boost and providing fuel management for this. that was HRC's salespitch. that is what half of HRC's marketing is, "Staged Upgrades". i mean the only reason their kit is sold w/the inline is because this will allow the user (turbo owner) to easily upgrade to one of their higher stages w/out them having to sell you another fuel pump. this saves their costs and yours. fact is, if they weren't looking to sell more expensive upgrade packages they just may have used an intank pump as well. you never know. i've had my turbo on for over a year and a half, haven't touched the boost, and haven't BLOWN A DAMN THING UP!!!
