Hi, i recently just hydrolocked my engine, so i am going to be getting a new one. I want to go turbo. So what engine would be the best, AND EASIEST, to put into my car since i will be doing everything my self. I know a decent amount about engines.
I will be an engine used, so what would be the best (easiest) engine to put in my car that i could get the most performance out of.???

Are you sure you know a decent amount about engines? Know more about the 420a and the RS/GS.

you could always throw a 2jz or a sr20det. But so many people do those they are unpopular now.

Since you took the ass ramming like a champ, you deserve to know somethings. Our cars are not like Hondas and Acuras where you can easily swap engines in. Our bay is tight enough as it is. As far as engine swap goes, I won't say it's impossible, but I'll say it's very expensive when you go any other route besides the 420a. There is nothing wrong with a fully built turbocharged 420a. I tell you this from experience. It's high maitenance, but what car isn't that makes over twice as much hp as it was stock. Only problem you'll have with a built 420aT is traction. Otherwise on the highway, you own it depending on your tuning.
