I have been searching under intercooler and have only found custom setups that are bigger than the Hahn FMIC... If I'm planning for 400+ whp in the long run, is it worth it to upgrade the Hahn FMIC??
If so, what will fit, 3" in/out is it worth it?, piping aviailable?, etc.... I am looking for a well established brand that is reliable and has the same in/out as the Hahn FMIC.. I don't really want to change my piping but if there is a shorter route for the piping (like what the 4G63 guys do for the FMIC) and the 3" upgrade. Thanks for the help, I'm just looking for maximum HP..

The HRC FMIC is probably the best intercooling kit for anyone with a HRC turbo kit. Even if you have a different turbo kit it's still a very good option. It's proven, its designed to fit perfectly, a monkey could install it in less than 2 hours, and it looks like sex. Even with the steep $1100 price tag, you get what you pay for. The core is HUGE and I've never heard of anyone heat soaking the thing.

it's a 1200cfm IC. If you flow more than 1200cfm of air in your turbosystem, then I'd worry about it.

This may not be fact. I remember Bill Hahn Jr. discussing the FMIC once or twice, and to the best of my knowledge, this is what he stated it was rated to handle. I'll admit it - i didn't search for it to verify.

I called, it's 900 for the fmic, piping, connectors, everything for a 2gnt application. Yes it does look good. I got my front mount when they used to sell apexi products way back when, before they started welding their own up.
