#78723, "Turbo setup Question"

Hi, i have a 95 eclipse Gs
I am about to put a turbo system on my 420A engine. It has stock internal but by summer or fall 2005 I will do the rebuild. I have Garret T3 60 trim with the exhaust manifold, I need to get an intercooler and fix the fuel issues. I will be creating(me and somebody else), the pipping, the downpipe, etc.

My question are:

1. Do I need to raise the fuel system (Injector, fuel pump and FPR) when I am bossting at 5 psi throught 7 psi? Can the stock setup work?
Even thought i am planing to put 255lph Fuel pump, 350cc injector, and FPR.

2. Whenever i conect the oil feed line for the turbo, Am I going to need a oil pressure regulator? any requirede hose for it (3/4)?, I don't want to over feed the turbo with a lot of oil!

3. If I use an S-afc, Do I need to use the missing link? Do I need to use an SFMU???

4.Is there something else related to the Fuel system, computer releated or electronic system I should be aware of?

Please serious reply!, i am here to ask this questions, If you don't have a serious answer don't bother to write!!(For the people that like to bash!)
I will apreciate your knowlegment!!
Thanks in advance!
Have a nice day

TITO

Absolutely! ANYTIME you induct more air into a motor, you must add more fuel. The easiest way to do that for lower boost levels is through increasing fuel pressure. Make sure your regulator can do variable rate of rise, something along the lines of an SFMU.

No. Turbos that can actually be damaged by very high oil pressures usually come with a restrictor in the inlet. Your T3 isn't one of these. a -4AN hose will feed plenty of oil through the turbo. Couple it with a 3/4" oil return line, and it will be sufficient.

If your car is from the 95 model year, you do not need a missing link at all. Anyone that says boost will damage your map sensor is misinformed. You can use an SAFC is you want. An SFMU is a fuel pressure regulator.. you don't HAVE to use it specifically, but something with is capabilities and tunability for controlling your fuel pressures is a must.

Yeah. 95's are the most forgiving year for modding. You'll be fine.
