Hey guys I had just recieved my second recall notice for my car. The first recall I recieved was from last year and had the car inspected already and everything seemed to be fine. Now this second one says to get the same defect checked again. How many of you guys have recieved your second recall and how did it go?

If its the ball joint thing, do it. I passed the first time, but had them replaced the second time. But pick a trustworthy dealer. I think my dealer cut my CV boot while doing the install. The boot was fine 2 weeks earlier, then it blows up a week after the dealer does the ball joint recall (I've only got 52k). They look at it...say its definitely been cut, but deny any wrongdoing. They quickly quoted me a price for the work. I can't prove a thing, so told them to shove it and put a new driveshaft in myself. I've always been wary of dealers, but now I wouldn't let one lay a finger on my car.

Whats up with this ball joint recall? I purchased my car from a private party and have yet to get any recalls on it... 98 gs... any ideas? when I am breaking on un-level road where the car is turning I can hear a loud pop from the front suspension, any ideas on this? -- Brad 98 t-gs
do you have aftermarket susp I assume? If you have coilovers, you have to make sure the thick washerlike rings up top are seated properly each time the car is jacked up. If they don't seat correctly, you'll get a pop at that corner when you're on uneven ground.
I dont have coilover's, but I'll jack it up and look at it... Its a loud "clunk" sound when I take off at an angle of break hard and at an angle(turning) usually.
