#78153, "Turbulance?"

I called Hahn yesterday to discuss my situation with my lack of boost. I had tried shortening the actuator rod and disconnecting the downpipe at the cat with no change in results. Then he said that it may be turbulence in the wastegate hose, and some cars are prone to this. Has anyone ever had to deal with something like this? They told me to put a "t" in the wastegate hose and cap off the open nipple. This supposedly may fix the problem.

Never heard of that before & couldn't find anything by searching.
