I am planning to get an Apexi Turbo Timer for my Eclipse GST. But, I have some question about it !
1) Is it easy to install the turbo timer myself? (I am not an expert , like you guys!) 2) Will the turbo timer affect the battery life or other electronic stuff of the car? 3) Can I warm up my car with it? 4) Will it cause any problems after installing it? 5) Do you guys know where to get a cheap one?
Thanks for the answering the above questions! I know you guys are experienced in it !

1) If you're a complete electrical novice, take it to someone else. 2) Not if installed properly 3) Are you talking about remote start? Don't think any TT's have that... 4) Not if installed properly 5) Ebay

1. the 2g specific harness will make it a lot easier. then it's just tapping a couple of wires and grounding. 2. no, unless you install it wrong somehow. 3. yes 4. no 5. no

My HKS was easy as hell to install. Unplug the connector to the ignition...plug everything into the HKS harness and I was done.

If you need a harness, I have spare a GReddy one. You could cut off the GReddy connector and splice the wires onto the APEX'I unit using the pass-through ignition harness connector thing. Pay for shipping, and it's yours.

do you have just the main harness that came with the TT? if so, there is another one you want that is 2g specific, like the Greddy one offered above. and if i'm not mistaken, you can use the Greddy one with the apexi or hks or whatever without having to splice anything, i think it's universal.
