I want to go turbo, but my only real big concern is inspection. Will I still pass inspection with a turbo on my car being as how it is aftermarket. Also the other thing is the CEL. If I put the turbo on is there anyway I can bypass the CEL so it does'nt come on? If the CEL is on when my car is inspected they will fail the car. What to do?

A turbo does not necessarily mean a CEL.
What year car?
What state?
What kit?

when i was first turboed i never had a CEL...it was only after getting cams and gears that i get a CEL.... if you have everything adjusted correctly, it should pass fine (and if your turbo isnt burning a crap load of oil doug

You should be fine with a 98. 96's have funky limits for the MAP sensor that will cause problems. Just throw a checkvalve in the EVAP line off the TB, use a missing link, and you'll probably never see a CEL.
