#77295, "Those who installed turbo kit.....car won't start!!"

Hey fellas...welp i finished installing the star kit. I put the key in the ignition, turn, and the damn car wont start. It cranks but wont start. I was wondering if anybody had the same problem when installing the kit. One thing I should add is that I dont have a missing link on the map sensor. I asked the dealer of the kit and they said that the 95 eclipse does not require one. Any help would great, thanks.

Yeah I heard the fuel pump, pretty damn loud too.
In regards of the fuel pump installation, I left out the black top part because it wouldnt have fit if I put it on. My friend did the fuel pump and everything looked okay, but he notified me that he left out the black top. Also, I have the vortech fmu: I took the stock line and plugged it in the straight fitting, then plugged the 90 degree fitting to the other end, is that correct?

What do you mean left out the black top in the fuel pump.....When i installed mine the black spacer on the bottom was too big i used the original one. The o-ring on the top of the pump needs to go back together just as it came off the original pump you cant leave parts out. If you have a fuel pressure gauge see if you are getting fuel pressure.

Alright, I noticed when I crank it, fuel leaks out from under the car; right below where the fuel pump is located. I'm going to check it out tomorrow morning but if anybody may know the problem please feel free to add.

The problem is obvious, you didnt tighten the fuel lines up and something is wrong with the install around the fuel pump. Re install all of it (fuel pump and fuel lines at the tank). You should be ok then. Double check all your work around the fuel pump.

Yeah, found out that the fuel line was ripped in half. I guess he twisted it so hard the hose twist off with while the nut was being turned. I'm planning on switching to SS lines but I'm having trouble looking for one with two female 1/4" adapters. I went to a hardware store but the ones they have can barely allow you to turn three times to make it tight. So I'm looking for longer fittings, any ideas where I can get them?
Sorry for the stupid questions. I really appreciate everyones help.

I'd also recommend going with upgrading the in-tank fuel pump and not running a secondary pump after the stock/aftermarket in-tank pump.

Bok i am not sure i understand what fittings you are looking for. Are you looking for the 1/4npt threaded fitting with a barb on one end? Look on Summit racing for fittings and look on ANPLUMBING.COM. Be very careful ordering from an becasue they are higher then most other places.

I agree with Babyeclipse.....i prefer one pump as well, easier and less mess

Sorry, I'm not very good at describing fittings but I went to summitracing and found a fuel line made by NOS. Hopefully it fits. So simply running only a walbro fuel pump isnt enough?

no it IS enough thats the point. Walhbro makes 3 pumps. 190lph, 255lph, and 255lph high volume. Either of the 255's are fine. I forget which one comes with the star kit but it is enough you really dont need an additional pump. Hahn chooses to run a second pump, i dont know why. To me its just too much plumbing and wiring when you can replace the intake and be done.

I appreciate your help Terry! I ended up going to the dealership for the damn hose. Costed me $20...I should've done that in the first place, hehe.
