Hey guys, what's up. I'm doing a whole new setup soon and I'll be needing slimmer fans. I saw months ago with a post about the FAL-FANS it doesnt really tell me where to get them. But yeah, if you guys know a site whatever, please post it up. Thanks

PW: Can I use my stock radiator them?

So what fans will you be using with the fluidyne rad.? I read this post about this and this guy had the fluidyne rad. from RRE and was using the FAL-FANS from summit part number flx-220? but 220 is flex-a-lite? he probably made a typo. but i'm confuse on what fans to get.

FAL stands for "Flex-A-Lite" They are very good fans to get, high flow and very well put together. The downside is they are very expensive as far as fans go. The singles are cheaper but if you get a dual setup your looking at around $400 bucks maybe a little less.

Google for Zirgo fans. Best bang for the buck, they outflow everything. You just need a slim line fan, you don't have to be picky. You need either a 10" or 12" pull fan. I got mine from Jegs, its a permacool brand. Works like a charm.

That's incorrect. I have FAL fans and a fluidyne. Obivously it doesn't mount like stock but they give you the necessary equipment with the fans to mount them up. You do need to make cutouts for the water necks.

The mounting hardware is nothing more than a ziptie w/a fat base that will slide threw the fins of the core and allow you to tie it down w/ the female piece. Theres nothing to it. You could get fancy and tig weld some brackets but i've been running this for over a year w/ no issues.

the slimline fans have special mounting brackets that fit the stock radiator only. i really didnt try any kind of custom mount. i just throw the stockers back in and send the fans back. actually we had to do alot of fighting to get the stock fans back in. they hit the exuast, then they hit the intake, but eventually they fit.
