#7704, "Hahn Stage 2 Turbo"

If I was to run a hahn stage II turbo, running at around 8 boost, is it very safe? or should I at least go down to 6 and wait to change internals/Stage III ?

If I was to run it at 8, I would check fluids, my engine on a regular basis, would there be any symptons of engine problems, or does it just blow without any warnings.

What are your opinions, feedback appreciated.

I am going to run 8psi when I get my FMIC on and my new exhaust. 8psi is safe as long as you have the fuel. Having fuel is the key to running higher boost. I wouldnt go over 8psi though on stock internals. I know someone that runs 10psi on stock internals but I wouldnt do it unless it was on race gas at the track.

thanks for the 2nd opinion.

I agree, 8 psi boost, the engine can take it, and I'll check my engine on a regular basis, and if I see anything out of the ordinary, I will reduce the boost, and wait for Stage III/Change internals.

(a) Question ->

How much would it cost to change the internals, average?
And how long would it take roughly to do this process?

My friend has a Talon, boosted, and when he changed the internals, his car was in the shop for a good month.
