#76543, "gauge question"
Sep-19-04 10:19 AM by import1996rs

ok, ive seached and found some of what i need but still need some help with the gauges install. i have all auto meter ultra-lite boost, EGT, and A/f gauges.

for the gauges the black is ground, does the red one on gauges go to the green, or the blue wire on the cig lighter? also for the lights black is ground, but where do i hook up the white wire, ive heard people say to the dash lights, where and which wire does this go to? -this question is the same for all gauges, and is it ok to connect all the power wires to same cig wire, and ok to hook all white light wire to dash wire?

one other question regaurding oil return line, im going to get a -4an line for the send from summit( atm-3229) is there anything similar to this kit on summit i could use for the return? would the same size work for the return? i wouldnt think so, have to be larger right?

the white wire for the light wires to a green wire with a white stripe on it. for constant 12v for the gauge, i wired directly to the constant 12v ignition wire ... it is a thick white wire down under the dash under the steering column.
