I recently put a turbo on my 97 Gs and everything was fine for about a day and then the car started hesitating(I dont know any other way to explain it) and the check engine light came on.I put it on a computer to read the errors and it said it was the map sensor.This was before I know about the missing link so I ordered and installed one.The car was parked while I was waiting on the missing link because I read that you could fry the map sensor if you drove it without the missing link installed. But now the check engine light comes on and I get the map sensor error again.So what I need to know is has anyone had the same problem? Did I fry my sensor driving it without the missing link? Also is anyone else having a problem with the filter coming out of the synapse engineering missing link? Any info anyone could give me would be great.

I have been having the same problem. I started having some hesistating while driving. I first thought it was a dirty fuel filter so I replaced it. The problem still persisted. Then I thought maybe I'm not getting enough fuel. But on my way to go get a fuel pressure gauge the hesistaing go really bad and the car won't rev past 4000 rpm. Weird. I then hooked up a pressure gauge and I was getting 60 psi of fuel pressure at idle (should be around 42 psi) and at WOT. It wont get any more than 60 psi fuel pressure at WOT even with the FMU boosting the pressure. I hooked up a scan tool and it said bad MAP sensor. I replaced the MAP sensor twice now at $75 each at Auto Zone. Still same problem, over rich idle, extreme hesistaing, will not rev past 4000 rpm. After some looking in to it, I have been told that it could be my ECU.
