#76245, "Shakey FP gauge needle, SFMU not working"

I have the SFMU (Dark Spring, 2.72 disk) T'd off is a B&M fuel pressure gauge. Anyways at idle the needle shakes at around 20-22psi, after I let off the gas it goes to 18psi. I thought it was the gauge but when I turn it to ACC the gauge does not shake but just goes into the normal cycle of going to about 30psi then slowly drops off. Another thing I notice is that my FP gauge used to drop to 0 after I turned off my car and now it goes to 5psi then slowly to 0. Also when I boost my car used to run good, with the restrictor inline, running about 55-58psi @ 7lbs now it runs like 60+psi @ 4psi and even not in boost fuel pressures are way high. I checked the rubber return line for bends or kinks, but nothing, I gonna get it replaced with a hardline soon. I also checked the feed line and vaccumm lines..vaccumm is around 15Hg at idle (my GReddy BOV diaphram is torn a little) Can anyone help out? Thanks
Alvin

Sounds like a kinked return line to me...

BTW - your Greddy BOV having a worn/torn/split diaphram won't cause low idle vacuum emoji

Make sure the fastners on the SFMU are torqued properly and that it's not leaking vacume.

I'm gonna run alluminum tubing to the hardline of the top of the tank...now how would I attach that? A simple hose that's bigger than the two?...but I can't really torque it down on the alluminum pipe cuz isn't that too soft that it might crush it? THanks
