A friend of mine wants to sell me his Garrett T3 off of his accord that he bought. It has the wastegate and all that other stuff still attached to it. I don't know a whole lot about turbos so i was wondering if you guys know if it will fit or not? I'm looking for a direct bolt-on so i don't have to mess around with a bunch of stuff. I asked a couple of buddies of mine that know a little about turbos and they said that it won't fit. Is there anything i need to buy to make it fit? Where would i go? I'm not sure, so i thought that i would ask you guys. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks guys!

I assume you're talking about putting it on your GST. If so, you'll need a mitsubishi turbo (not a garret) in order to do as little changing of parts as possible.

The 2G has a garrett turbo just the T25 flange is different than a T3 flange. No turbo is a direct fit except the T28 wheel upgrade (uses a T28 wheel in the factory housing). You need an installation kit for mitsu turbos (14B,16G,20G) and Franks and a new manifold for a T3 flange (XS engineering offered a T3/T4 upgrade for 2gs that used an adapter so maybe they can help. I've heard adapters for the T3 on 2Gs eventually leak). Anyway there's no way in hell it will be a direct fit or anything close to it.
