I know this has been discussed but what Internals should I run on my 2.4? I was concidering going with a longrod setup with custom pistons but it is quite expensive. Would it be worht it? My other option is the srt internals. Are the SRT internals really that good? I am using the car as a track car adn want to put down some good numbers.. Please chime in best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph(no traction) fastest 2GNT with a hitch! until proven wrong... www.cnnmotorsports.com

srt4 pistons are good and cheap (around $200 from bob kise). you might want to look into some custom internals tho if this is going to be a strictly track car.

Yeah I am unsure of teh amount of boost I would end up running. Deffinatly over 20psi though. I guess it would be safer going with aftermarket items. best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph(no traction) fastest 2GNT with a hitch! until proven wrong... www.cnnmotorsports.com

srt internals will take 500+whp....and some of the guys over at srt forums said it would be ok to wind it to the stock 2gnt's redline (7250) but not all to often, imfo.
long rod is better for a higher redline and less headache that it will grenade at 500+whp
