#75685, "still a "miss" or something....maybe 95 issues??"

i have a 95 running a 14b.... i have 2.5" ic pipes, starion front mount (upgraded inlet/outlet), msd dis2 (brand new) msd coil, accell wires, iridium plugs (ive tried ngk), missing link, sfmu, 310cc injectors and i think thats about it.....if im cruising at say 35 in 3rd gear and i mash on the pedal, the car will sputter, backfire, and after a while start picking up speed..... even in second gear where the car should have a lot of balls..... i dont think its an ignition problem because i just replaced everything....i thought it was the missing link but it made no difference with one or without one.... im kind of thinking its a fuel problem of some sort.....just wondering if anyones had this problem and if it is fixable, how did you fix it? thanks

Man I was talking to a Neon Owner that was turboed, and he had an MSD-DIS2 like me, and was saying how when he connected the MSD he was getting a misfire in cylinders 1&2. I was getting a multiple cylinder misfire code on my car (95 Eclipse) with the MSD connected too. The result, we both disconnected them and we dont get the code anymore.

If the MSD was not broken and you wired the MSD correctly and used the tach adapter you will not have any problems on a 95 eclipse.

Tach adapters are a joke. it's a big resistor, it makes no difference at all as to how the car will run, it just keeps the CEL away. Waste of money.

It was wired by Thura and Michael97RS. I am pretty sure that it was wired correctly. And I do have the tach adapter.

its wired right and i do have a tach adapter.... its not really missing, almost flooding, or detonating..... its not a huge problem, if im in 2nd and im at like 3-4000 rpms and floor it, the car just bucks a little and then starts kicking some ass.....its that damn buck that i want gone
