oh man i'm pissed! today i removed my turbo to get to my starter easier. changed put it back...whatever, nice and normal. well as soon as i boosted around the block, i heard a big CLACK! i was like what the hell?? so i kept driving and i hear CLACK again, i thought it was coming from my transmission and that the clutch was going to shit. anyway when i goto the house, to check i popped the hood, and oh my god the oil line fitting to the turbo broke and oil all over it...i was like OH SHIT! so i removed the air filter to it, and i look at the inlet, what a disaster! the blades are all bent, and scratched up. what a sucky day! luckliy i have $1500 for my car funds, damn but that was going to a new paint job. well fellas what do you all suggest what turbo to go with, and i'm looking at 500HP.

no turbonetics or garret type only, i have the STAR manifold. i'm looking into the 60 series, probably a 60-1 turbo, but would it bolt on to the STAR manifold? i've never seen one.

let's see 'cause i have a hook up here with a distributor. i might be able to get it at $1000. the thing is i don't think it will bolt up to the turbonetics flange i have on my DP. i think it's the 6 bolt circle pattern. let' see. i need to ask that guy.

thanks...but this is what i'm going with, i made up my mind:

this is the GT30 Garrett, but non ball bearing. i wish i can afford th BB one but $1200 is alot. i can get this for $650 through my hookup. compressor has 0.70 A/R housing, 56 wheel trim, wheel dia 2.25/3.00, hot side: 0.63A/R, 84 wheel trim, 2.16/2.36 wheel diameter. Compressor flow = 55lbs...this baby can handle 500HP easy. so with this flow i'm sure i'll be happy. i guess there was a reason for losing the old one. well i'm gonna make the order monday. damn i can't wait. HAHA let's see someone top me. WAHHAHAHHA!!!
