Soon im going to be purchasing some gauges and I figured I only need to Get Vac/Boost and EGT gauge. Since I plan on using an Apexi turbo time as my Air/Fuel gauge. I needed to know how accurate are these things pretty accurate.

Well it depends on what you mean by "accurate"...lol Although it is not like a wideband, if you watch the volts of your O2 sensor you will get a really good idea. You surley want to tune to EGT's as a primary (if you don't have wide band) but tuning to EGT's and a .93-.95 on O2 voltage will get you into the right neighborhood. I use the apexi unit and I love it. It's just a volt meter for the O2 so it is really accurate in this mode...

the wideband calculation of the apexi is not accurate. i have both a wideband and the apexi.. the wideband is correct and the apexi is not. if you are at idle.. sure its correct, but thats about it. also it lags compared to real time.

So for my setup which includes a 14b turbo set at 8 psi I can get by with just the Egt and the Apexi TT while saving up for wideband, but how neccesary is a wideband if i only wanna push 8 psi intercooled through the internal wasgate.

What do you mean by the Apexi "wideband"? That unit is not wideband capable. I assume you are speaking about the fuel ratio display setting correct? Well I would not use that to tune with, I would use the O2 voltage meter to check your self against what the EGT's tell you. At 8psi you don't need a wide band because they tuned it for you if this is a kit. Also the A/F ratio on the timer is programable so that you "could" tune the guage to be correct on the car. Bottom line you don't need a wideband till you have to do major tuning or till you are pushing gobs of power..

get the wideband. It will cost you just as much to get the egt and the a/f gauge + the turbo timer. You will not regret spending the money on the wideband. Tune your car right the first time.

Now your not sugesting that he get the wideband and not buy an EGT guage are you? I would not run a turbo on the car without an EGT guage, esp. not if I was forgoing it for a wideband unit on a pretuned kit at 8psi? Widebands are very cool but you don't need one at 8psi, and again esp. not if you are getting that at the expence of not being able to see exhaust temps. Bottom line the apexi is a nice unit at a great price that will fill your needs for now, and give you a TT.
