I'm looking to buy fuel injectors for a boyfriend... He has a 99 - eclipse - gs. However he put a turbonetics t3 turbo in it. Currently he is boosting abotu 5 lbs to be safe... but eventually with the whole fuel system in place... he wants to be boosting about 15-16 lbs. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SIZE INJECTORS HE NEEDS? ... and is it true he can only go 50% bigger than stock injectors? and if so... wat is the size of the stock injectors? THANX

What type of system is he going to be using for fuel control? There are multiple options with varying cost amounts. I'll list of few ...
Stock FPR and Vortech FMU - Pretty cheap but lousy control over fuel Vortech SFMU - Better but still using a rising rate regulator will cause very large Fuel Pressures in boost
8-Injector Setup / Hahn Portfueler - A little more expensive. Fuel pressures that aren't insane under boost. Uses 4 larger injectors that only fire when in boost ... stock injectors control off boost fuel consumption
Stand alone Fuel Management (MegaSquirt/DFI/Tec) - Probably the most work involved and most expensive (except for the MS since it's a DYI solution). Allows the usage of outrageously large injectors. Difficult because you have to create the fuel maps from scratch. Your stock ECU does crap.
Depending on what setup he chooses to go with will determine what size injectors he'll need.

right now the only thing that he has on the 99 gs eclipse as far as fuel.. is an upgraded fuel pump. I thought that gettin him the injectors and and apexi safc II would be sufficient. But i guess the safc II isnt that good... is what I have been hearing... I was told the vortech SFMU is better and does the same job... What do you think?

i got (4) 36lb or 370cc's injectors tht are in good shape i can sell you. they've only been used for 15,000mi and still in good shape. i took them off when i went 8-injectors and my secondaries are 440cc's so i got no use for them. i can sell them to you for $80 shipped.

I spoke with crzysev a little earlier, She told me he has a built bottom end. She didn't state what brand only that they were some kind of high performance rods and pistons. The stock injectors are something like 235cc's. I believe you can go 310cc's on stock computer, but as mentioned before with the right equipment the sky's the limit ideally. Here's the link to Corbins website on choosing the correct injector size. Hope this helps. http://www.2gnt.com/www/corbin/chooseinj.html
