After having a good look over my turbo components, and concluding that it wasn't a leak I decided to feel around underneath the turbo itself. Sure enough, there was the WG actuator lever floating in the wind. I grabed the wastgate rod thingy and snapped it back into the lever and everthing is as good as new. emoji

Heh at least with an external wastegate you wouldn't have to worry about that. emoji Then again when I boost I can smell raw exhuast through my air vents emoji

No pin holding it on...It may have popped out or something, I'll fabricate one. It did give me an idea though... for long trips where you don't want to boost, just pop the pin out, and presto...no boost.
