If i look at howell automotive there saying

But when i have talked to others they have said

350 ft-lbs
and
410 ft-lbs

I have gotten so many diffrent anwsers, who do i belive?

Try asking Spec.

Lets just say this... I'm over 100whp and soon to cross 200whp. Thanx 2GNT! Now if I could only learn to prove it.

We're a Spec dealer, Spec rates the stage 3 modular clutch at a torque rating of: 435 ft-lbs max

yep i agree with above, i talked to one of the guys at SPEC and i wanted to make sure it was capable of my goals, and i believe it will do the job. the guy told me of a 97 turbo neon doing 420whp and 380ft lbs of torque with a stage 4 clutch. so i'm going with that one. i have it as a matter of fact but i haven't had a chance to install it. most likely next week i will be able to do it, i wanna get to that dyno already and kick ass. so we'll see if it holds out at 23+ psi.

Howell doesn't sell the standard SPEC units.

Probably not. No one offers a decent pressure plate for the 420A application, just reworked stock plates that offer a small gain in clamp load.

i found out today and it's 2000 psi of clamp load for both stage 3 and 4. the difference is that the stage 4 has a rigid disk which is a much snappier engagement.
