I finished breaking in my motor and i decided it time to up the boost. My friend also just bought a 04 srt4 so we were both decided we would run in second gear when we left the store. So we pull out and im behind him in second at 3k punched it...my car spiked to 14lbs then dropped to 11lb and the srt4 pulled ahead one and a half car lengths by the time we got to 90. so we went to his house and my car sounded supercharged almost and i listen and find this high pitch wine in the wheel well and i see that the upper portion of the evap solenoid popped off anyone else have that happen? Also Im going to recheck all the boost lines for leaks i want my car to hold a steady 14 psi then run the srt4 again becuase it still spikes with the evap together. I need a real DP next though...im using the hahn BS one on the stock pipe...

HKS EVC EZ electronic....I found my problem...the line that went from the mani to the stepper motor was crimped so it was screwin with the pressure...I turned up the boost to 15lbs and was able to pull on the srt4...Next thing im doing def is the 3 inch dp...the 2.5 on the stock pipe is BS

How bad did you pull? just curious.

You needed 15psi to pull on the srt? What size turbo, sorry to get off topic. I was even with them at 9-10psi on the s16g, maybe the guy couldn't drive?

you know this is a real good point regarding boost and our emmisions systems. Has anyone designed a nice little protective valve to keep from damaging the various diaphrams around the gas tank ect and in the Leak detection pumps and solinoids ect.

I noticed hahn doesnt appear to have anything produced yet i have read alot of people with leaks due to boost induced damage to emmision components.

i was running very rich and i need a real dp to breathe....but on the highway it started to pull like a bat out of hell at 5k and i walked by the srt4...it just takes a long ass time to spool
