OK... I have decided to turn my 420a into a turbo i have 3 DSM's and i recently bought a 95 talon Esi for 200$ w/ a blown engine but nice body and all just missing sum interior parts. Well i just bought a used engine for 400$ heard it cranked and all w/ only 88k miles on it. Since its out and all i was wondering sum stuff that i should do b4 i put it in for a turbo setup. for now im thinking 450cc injectors and maybe a cam this one in particular http://www.cranecams.com/?show=browseParts&lvl=4&prt=2036&action=partSpec&partNumber=431-0014
i have my own turbo already that i got off sum old subarus w/ an internal wastegate. i have a pipe bending machine and am very experienced w/ it. so i will be doing all my own piping for this setup and i will prolly mount it like the HRC model. i have sum hardware such as the BOV and IC already just need to know what the best gauges would be as far as boost gauges and if i'd need a boost controller. also need to know what i need as far as the ecu set up. i dont have any electronics and this is what i mainly need help on.
So for the question now. What electronics do i need for my turbo setup on my 420a such as fuel management components and such for the turbo to work and not mess up my engine.

A low compression rebuild would be nice. Our stock cast pistons aren't great past 7-8 PSI.

Do a search for DSM 450cc injectors. People have gotten to work with a resistor pack. There is a good thread related directly to this in the turbo section of Things We've Seen Before.

PITA. Subie flanges are THE suck. Find yourself a T25 (for starters) or a nice 14b. Both can be easily found cheap locally or DSMTrader.com

Run of the mill 50$ MBC will work just fine. Good set of guages I think every turbo 420A owner should have at least is Boost, EGT, Fuel pressure.

Unless you're a 97 and most likely all motor and needing the AFX ECU for 97's only (:P) then don't fuck with the ECU.

Starting out with low boost (becuase I'm assuming you're not going to do a forged rebuild) then all you're going to need is a check valve for the MAP sensor (Missing Link, search) and an SFMU (info on that on the 2GNT main page under mods).
Good luck sir. Read everything this forum has to offer before you turn a wrench on something you don't understand.
