#74865, "Hahn Kit Question about Check Engine Light"

I am still having the problem with my Check Engine Light. I was told it was fixed but it ends up that it isn't.

I took it to Advance Auto and they scanned it for me. The code is P0455 EVAP emission Control System Leak (Large). Not sure what to do to now fix it.

I have a Hahn Stage 2 turbo kit with an Apexi AFC and a Thermal Research Exhaust.

Search for "EVAP code"

There was a pretty good thread a while back about how to fix that, what fails, and how to prevent it from happening again. Basically, there is a diaphram in a checkvalve on the top of the tank that fails under boost than must be replaced and a checkvalve added to the line near the manifold to prevent it from seeing boost and popping again.

*edit*

I found it and moved it to Things We've Seen Before. Here is the link. ignore the stupid flames we had.
