Block off the EGR system, and replace the map sensor. Learn to live with the EGR code.

Wait. dont just replace the map sensor if its not broken!!! thats lame. I get a map sensor code all the time due to the fact it doesnt like my safc, even though my sensor is new and working perfectly. Check it out before throwing away perfectly good sensors.

What In/OUT sensor types do you have the SAFC set to? Some cars like 6/6 some like 7/7 If I remember right 7/7 is actually right for our cars... if you have it wrong the SAFC will skew the voltage going out to the ECU... not good.
The SAFC can actually do some weird shit sometimes... heh.
