ok, i am using this in my 8 injector setup. thing is there are only 2 drivers for injectors from the amplifier unit. i'm guessing i can just wire 2 more harnesses in with the 2 that are already there. am i correct in saying this? the other thing i don't understand is, shouldn't the injectors be firing a different times with the designated cylinder? how do they do this with only 2 outputs? the unit says it will run up to 8 injectors. any info would be appreciated.

I'm guessing it would mirror what Corbin suggested on the 034 efi. That unit only has two drivers as well, running 4 injectors in parallel. So long, as you're running high impedance injectors, you're money.

You should be able to run #1 and #3 off of one driver, and #2 and #4 off of the other driver. Hit me up on AIM about my 8inj manifold. I have some new information for you.
Lets just say this... I'm over 100whp and soon to cross 200whp. Thanx 2GNT! Now if I could only learn to prove it.

Thats the difference between sequential and batch injection. Sequential injection denotes that the injectors fire in time with each cylinder. Batch injection denotes that the injectors don't. Sequential injection helps with milage on and just above idle - other than that its all the same(read that as there is no benifit to sequential injection once you start to rev the engine up). Batch injection works just fine, its worked for years. Carburation is a sort of batch injection. Do some research on the difference between sequential and batch injection. Theres some info buried in the archives here, and there is plenty of information about it on the net.

Yep, follow Corbin's guidelines on hooking up 2 injectors to each driver. Suppoort for 8 injectors indicates that each driver could handle 4 injectors. Thats similar to the 034. I don't know how the HKS unit is configured - but it should tell you how the injectors are fired - like alternating or all at once...but its definately a batch setup.

also, does anyone here have any experience tuning one of these? i have read the instructions and everything and am still pretty lost. i hooked up the unit to a battery while my car is still apart and was playing with it (it has a simulation mode) and i cannot figure out what it is/supposed to be doing. anyone with advice or info please let me know. and is there a reason why only a few people on here are running this? is it a piece of junk or what?
