Was wondering what I could do about this problem

When going down a hill, at higher rpm -2500-3500(high vac), I hear POP, POP, POP, BANG! (Ooo reminds me of old school Batman lol)

I assume its raw fuel igniting in the exhaust as im decelerating. My question is how the hell do I fix that?

I no my Fuel Pressure is too high for my injectors (310 cc Accell’s) Im hitting 40 psi at idle. Could high FP be causing that loud popping?

Any ideas please

my car is stock. and it does that..... ehhhh.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Rule of thumb...

backfire out the exhaust is too rich
backfire out the intake is too lean

When you are compression braking, this is completely normal and expected. You don't need to adjust anything.

Well, i no that its not normal...It honestly sounds just as loud as a shot gun at times....What can be done to fix this?

There might be a small hole in your exhaust.

turn your car off while slowing down. or put your stock muffler back on.

If you dont want to address the problem (if there is one, I dont know) just stick it in nuetral when coming to a stop. Thats what I do around town to avoid making my car shake to much from the mounts and my muffler. Just a band-aid solution though.

yea, i thought about that, i have a 3 inch stright back no cat no anything...but still, it did not used to do it this bad, does everyone with a 3 inch turbo back pop loud as hell as when using your gears slow you down?

I backfire quite often now decelerating since I put the 440's in my car also.......seems somewhat normal.

When I was going through MAP sensor problems, my car backfired a lot when compression braking. A little is expected, but loud banging and flames coming out of the back was kind of unreasonable.

If the car is stock and this happens, I'd check the MAP sensor and possibly the oxygen sensor.
