I'm going to start tryign to save some cash for a turbo kit for my car. Keep in mind its bone stock right now. If I do this I need to know a couple of things. First off, I know I'm goign to probably go with HAHN for my kit. they seem more reliable unless anyone can tell me otherwise. I wanted to purchase a tage 3 kit and their lower end rebuild kit. My question is this. Am I goign to need to buy more stuff? I'm already looking at like $6K just in engine parts, that doesnt include gagues. What other stuff am I goign to need to purchase after buying this stuff? I'm pretty sure I'm goign to need an exhaust as well. I'm not wanting to build much more then 275-300HP.

first off, you should search some more about this topic because i know it has been discussed before. second, the last i heard, hahn never officially made a stage 3 setup. i dont even think it is listed on their site anymore. all you have to do is order a stage 2 kit from them and then a bottom end rebuild from howell and you have a stage 3. as far as mods you will need to reach 275-300hp, i dont see how you plan on spending 6k without gauges. the stage 2 kit alone will get you to 275 (at the crank) so you really dont need much other than what hahn recommends. a boost controller, turbo timer, 3" exhaust and new clutch would be nice to have.

Yeah I know the gauges are MANDATORY, like taken a ho's money. I just keep reading on here about these FMU's or SAFC's and I don't have a freakin clue what they are, what they do, or if I'll even need one.
