Ok, just to update you all.. I'm a FREAKING MORON! I found out what the problem was why i was only boosting to 10psi and then dumping. The fact is .. I was dumping while boosting.... I forgot to put the little silver ring inside the wastegate... WoOOPS. SOooo.. We fix it and i go out to test it out on state street.... next thing i know im hitting 15psi and red and blue lights are behind me.... yeup Solar got his first speeding ticket... Time to celebrate!!

Just a few more things now... I need to change the injects to 440's and also what is the best setup for the SFMU with 440's right now we have the large spring and second to smallest disc.... Anyone have any suggestions?

Also anyone know where i can get a good oil catch can? I seem to be spraying oil all over the freaking place inside my engine compartment when boosting.... it comes out the breather..

I bulit my own catch can out of some fuel line, an advil bottel, a ricer valve cover filter, and some epoxy. emoji If I would get around to peel the lable of the advil bottle and paint it it would go virtualy un-noticed...LOL

Right now it almost rivals etx's gatoraid catch can emoji

I am using a heavy weight oil and it isn't a shitload it's just barely noticeable. My engine is strong and yes I have done a compression check.

I think that what he is saying is that hitting 15psi on stock injectors, regardless of what disc was in the fmu, could have caused some serious problems as it would be lean as a vegetarians ass.. So after your 15 psi run did you notice any issues or problems????? Cause if you were that lean and stayed in the throttle for more than a second it may have done some damage....

What kind of damage could I expect. The engine sounds and runs great still. Even though I was running on stock injectors I had my SAFC ramped way high in high throttle and I run rich even at idle on stock injectors. The only thing i really noticed was a LITTLE oil coming out of the breather...

I guess if i blow my motor I blow my motor... I have 40Lb injectors arriving tomorrow and ordering a haltech, megasquirt or emanage this week. My home business is doing really well and if i need an other $1200 rebuild it's pocket change...

I was just simply looking for some advise and sorry for being such a noob! I just want to invest more into my car and help the 2gnt community. I haven't received so much negative before on this board but lately it's a bunch of ego driven people who have nobody else in mind but themselves... I have a lot of time and money to invest into learning about new products on solar... Some of the remarks in my other thread just make me want to sell it and buy a supra.... I would rather be unique and build a fast 2gnt....

I hope you were not refering to my comments in this thread Solar.. I was by no means trying to say that you don't have cash to rebuild your car. My vegan's ass comment was pretty funny in my head so I included it. You have forged pistons in your car so they can take a little abuse, and I was not aware that you were tuning with an SAFC. You were prolly running lean and you may have had some detnoation, or you may already have larger than stock injectors. I was only commenting that with stock injectors on an SFMU 14PSI would most likely cause a really lean condition and therefore could cause you to jack a piston or 2. If your motor is showing no signs of damage then everything is prolly fine, but I would not do that on a regular basis. You have the parts you need on the way to install them soon, so I hope you were not taking any of this as a slam or a mean spirited post at all. emoji
