Who knows if Howell's price increase reflects steel prices or FTY's prices. No matter what, they will sell items at what the market will bear.
If it helps solidify anything, we use tons of stainless steel at my work. We've been taking it in the shorts for months due to the rising steel prices. Thats hard to deal with when our finished product prices are being forced down by the market. On the flip side, the price paid for scrap steel rose too. We make out like bandits when we scrap the junk parts.
